Kowaliga Idol is the LARGEST  TALENT COMPETITION in Central and East Alabama and returns for it’s sevententh year. Kowaliga Idol has helped launch the careers of Tyler Braden, Tristen Gressett, and many more.

Be apart of the magic, excitement, and comradery of the most talented performers in Central and East Alabama and just possibly you could be crowned Kowaliga Idol 17. To immediately secure your spot that will advance you to the next level, which is the elimination rounds, you must secure a Golden Ticket and to secure your Golden Ticket you must attend any of the Golden Ticket nights below.

If you don’t secure your Golden Ticket at your first event don’t worry you can keep trying at other Golden Ticket Night events until you do. Make sure you Like, Follow, and Share the Kowaliga Country 97.5 Facebook page to keep up with everything Kowaliga Idol 17.

Here Are the Guidelines for 2025:

• You must be available for EVERY performance night. The schedule is as follows:

• Play In ROUND All Golden Tickets February 28th &  March 1st Alabama’s Little Bit of Texas in Wetumpka, Alabama

• Round of 80 March 7th & March 8th Lake Martin Pizza Company Alabama Highway 63 in Alexander City, Alabama.

• Round of 48 March 21st & March 22nd Martin’s on Lake Martin

• SEMI-FINALS March 28th & March 29th Alabama’s Little Bit of Texas in Wetumpka, Alabama

• BYE Week 

• FINALS April 6th Alabama’s Little Bit of Texas in Wetumpka, Alabama

The Rules:

• Participants must be 16-years or older to compete, contestants under the age of 21 MUST be always accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. You must be 21 years of age to enter the venue if you are not a contestant NO EXCEPTIONS!

• We will assign nights for everyone to perform it will be either Friday or Saturday and we will do our best to accommodate you if you have a night you prefer but we cannot GUARANTEE it. This will be the same for rounds two and three.

• Each contestant will be allowed to admit (1) guest who is 21 years of age or older for free but cover charges will apply for others.

• All performers must perform each round of the competition, failure to perform in any round will result in disqualification.

• All performers are expected to act in a professional manner throughout the competition, any poor conduct or behavior that is disrespectful to the contest, sponsors, or other performers will result in immediate disqualification at the discretion of LBI Media Inc.

The Format:

• All song selections for each round must be provided to us by no later than 12:00 pm Wednesday the week of that round. This is to ensure that we do not have multiple contestants wanting to sing the exact same song and allows time to make sure that we have the tracks available before the event night.

• LBI Media Inc., has the right to refuse or not accept any song choice that it deems vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate.
